Required subject matter expertise of each department for employee relations inquiries regarding prospective actions to research funding cuts such as layoffs and reduction in time requests. Created a report to monitor layoff and vacancy rate metrics.

• Specialized in observerships and music therapy programs, concentrated on organizational effectiveness during the COVID-19 pandemic. This included managing the intranet webpage, creating visual workflows, and editing procedures and policy.

• In my second year, I took advantage of Lean Healthcare Green Belt certificate program by creating an electronic Interpreter Request form for clinical use and a database for department metrics. Results can be seen on the Project page.​

• Served on the team that onboarded over 3,000 volunteers for Vaccination Super Sites in San Diego, CA in a matter of two months.​​

• This position served me throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. As a temporary worker, I was flexible to change departments where I was needed. My most significant impact was with Labor Pool scheduling as hospital department needs fluctuated.

• In my time at La Quinta Arts Foundation and California Desert Arts Council, I managed the volunteer and community programs in a six-person organization. Our major fundraiser was an arts festival where I was responsible for a $5,000 budget to create a recruitment and recognition program for volunteers. I decreased the average volunteer age by 5% at our festival and community programs in the first year. I was the right-hand for our events manager and coordinated pre/post event logistics, operations, and volunteer management for an annual four-day fundraising festival averaging 5,000 people per day.​

• ​This role allowed me to showcase my creativity and design skills by helping design festival maps, marketing collateral, and commemorative T-shirts for the festival.​

Tribal Youth Advisor

Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians

• I worked directly under the Executive Director of Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians and with the tribal board. In this part-time role, I advised and assisted youth members (12-17 yrs) in community service, outreach, member duties, and fundraising goals.
